Atlantic Coast Wrestling continues the mission of delivering world-class events for wrestlers from coast-to-coast! Our National-Level tournaments (Wildwood National Duals and the War at the Shore) typically feature the best teams and wrestlers from up to 30 states located North, South, East and West of the Jersey shore (East? Yes, twice we have hosted Freestyle teams from the Slovak Republic). A Freestyle team from Austria is with us in 2019!

WAR IS OVER!!

The 16th Annual War at the South Jersey Shore Folkstyle Nationals wrestling tournament is coming on April 19 & 20, 2019 (as always, on Easter Friday and Saturday), and it will be continuing with separate GIRLS DIVISION & ADULTS DIVISIONS!  The Girls Folkstyle tournament will return to a one-day event due to low numbers; it will begin at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 19. The Men's Folkstyle tournament will start on Saturday at 10:00 AM.​

In 2018 just under 2000 of the finest wrestlers in the country made their way to the beach in Wildwood, NJ. The 2019 tournament will once again be held in the fabulous Oceanfront Arena at the Wildwoods Convention Center in Wildwood, NJ. The morning sessions of the Boys War (girls may enter as well) feature Tot, Bantam, Midget and Junior age groups and will kick off at 8:00 AM both days. The afternoon sessions feature the Intermediate and High School age groups and will kick off at 1:00 PM both days.

RETURNING IN 2019 any wrestler who is eliminated in the double-elimination Co-Ed War (boys and girls) can sign-up at the arena before leaving on Friday to wrestle two more matches on Saturday. Four man brackets will be set up for wrestlers who want to participate, but YOU MUST SIGN-UP ON FRIDAY BEFORE LEAVING YOUR SESSION.

All attempts will be made to keep wrestlers in division and in the weight class wrestled at the war. In cases where this is not the case Tournament organizers will use their best judgement. Wrestlers can always withdraw from the second chance tournament if division and reasonable weight conditions can not be met. 

RETURNING IN 2019, GIRLS WAR, WITH CHANGES!! The separate Girls War is reverting back to a 1-day tournament. ALL Girls Divisions will wrestle in the Day One session that begins at 10:00 AM. We will work with competitors to provide appropriate rest time (as determined by Tournament Directors and/or referees) between matches for Girls who are wrestling in BOTH the Boys War (girls eligible to enter) and the girls-only War. Keep in mind that anyone who is eliminated on Friday from the Co-Ed War can sign-up to pick up two more matches on Saturday by wrestling in 4-man brackets on Day 2. That way, girls who wrestle in both the Co-Ed war and the Girls War can possibly wrestle in a minimum of 6 matches.

RETURNING IN 2019, ADULT'S WAR - The separate Adults War will be held on Saturday, with a start time of 10:00 AM.

This year's tournament once again features FloArena tournament software, which allows the online wrestling public, as well as attendees at the arena, to follow all of the results REAL TIME ONLINE. People who can't make it to the tournament will be able to view live streaming from EVERY MAT on the Internet this year!
